As a Business Analyst at Heartland Generation, I led operational applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and drive organizational change, resulting in enhanced productivity and optimized business outcomes.
In our small 5-person IT department, I ensured the reliability and performance of critical systems including MOC & Incident management, fleet management, CMMS, SCADA, and security applications. I also took on responsibilities outside my specified pillar, contributing to M365 initiatives and analytics projects that enabled data-driven decision-making.
With my programming background, I developed solutions using T-SQL, C#, .NET 6-8, and JavaScript, while also managing our Azure tenant, SQL databases, Azure DevOps, InTune, and SharePoint environments. This technical versatility allowed me to support both operational effectiveness and strategic planning across the organization.

P25 SDR Decoder
I've always been interested in radio and radio astronomy. I've been playing around with SDR's for a while now and I thought it would be fun to try and decode some P25 signals. I started with the basics, I wanted to be able to decode some local police chatter and see if I could get some of the data to display on a screen.
While this is a currently ongoing project I've made some good progress. I've been able to get the SDR working, start on the P25 decoding, and locally even get some of the data to display on a screen.
It's been fun to return to some of my roots and play around in the trunked radio space like I used to. I'm excited to make some more progress and see where this project goes.
